DescriptionLight purple figured satin in scrolling leaf design; elbow length sleeves; center front of bodice (a) and of skirt (b) of white figured satin in geometric design embroidered with pearls, silver pailettes, sequins, silver bullion thread and clear glass beads, and trimmed with bead fringe; fitted bodice with square neck; skirt with train; buckram panel under train, white taffeta machine-lace trimmed underskirt; two large brown stains on skirt; made by Worth for Mrs. Alexander G. Cumnoch of Lowell, Mass.; M. A. Driscoll, Boston, woven in bodice belt.
