The spoons struck on the backs of the bowls with hallmark (lion passant); ten also struck with maker's mark.
The forks struck on the back of the tines with hallmark (lion passant); nine also struck with maker's mark.
Eleven of the knives struck at the top of the handles with hallmark (lion passnat); two with traces of maker's mark.
The knife case mounts struck with hallmark (lion passant) and with maker's mark of CL (unidentified);t he spoon and fork case mounts struck with hallmark (lion passant); the lock plate and one handle plate with maker's mark of CL (unidentified).
All components and mounts also struck with Dutch mark of old work of Dutch origin 1853-1927 (an axe), and with post-1953 Dutch control marks.
