DescriptionFramed Jorie Johnson Collage. Displayed Vertically. Titled "Two Fish Tea and Tatami"; part of a series titled "Tea Series". Colors of washi used include cream whites, pale shades of peach and light green. A piece of the silver leaf is a bright turquoise color and is placed the lower right corner of a rectangular piece of light green washi. Above the turquoise leaf is a piece of gold leaf in a narrow half cresent shape. The light green piece of washi is placed towards the lower right corner of the collage; to the left of this piece is a smaller, rectangular, cream-colored piece of washi (on the left side there is a vertical strip of Japanese characters that have been printed in black ink. A Japanese symbol, printed with red ink, is layered on top of some of the characters). Above the cream-colored rectangle are two pale, cream colored pieces of washi that have been cut into abstract fish representations. In the upper right corner of the collage is a rectangular piece of cream colored washi, with fragments of what appear to be small green leaves, and gold and silver leaf. There are areas in the collage where a strand of black thread has been laid out to form a line (in the upper and lower left corners, and from the upper right corner, down towards the lower right corner).
