DescriptionFramed (wooden) collage by Jorie Johnson, titled "Tea Spoon and Brush" (part of series titled "Tea Series". In the lower left corner of the collage is a square piece of dark, cream colored washi, with two rows of Japanese characters (upper left corner), three Japanese symbols, printed in red (towards the middle of square), and a small piece of silver leaf, cut into a shape that appears to be representative of a vase (lower middle). Directly above the dark cream washi piece, is a thin, rectangular (vertical), charcoal colored, piece of washi (at the bottom of the rectangle is thin, arched line made from silver leaf). In the upper left corner of the collage is a beige colored piece of washi, cut into the shape of an irregular rectangle. At the upper right corner of the collage is a lime-green rectangular (vertical) piece of washi, with cut-outs of small flowers. Beneath the lime-green washi is a larger rectangular piece of washi (hardly recognizable); it has nearly the same coloring as the base piece of washi, on top of which, each collage piece has been placed (cream white). Strands of black thread are seen in certain areas, horizontally dividing the collage into three sections.
