DescriptionRemarkable parcel gilt candlesticks bold repoussed and chased with floral, fruit and vegetable motifs. Grapes and wheat are clearly visible.
These may be to the seven species of the Land of Israel mentioned in the Bible: wheat, barely grapes, pomergranates, figs, dates and olives.The stem is in the shape of twisted columns of the Temple of Jerusalem. Inscription along the outer edge of the rim refers to the lighting of Shabbat candles.

Marks
Letter R on base of both candlesticks. one piece has additional mark of vertical post with two horizontal posts and crown on top. This recalls the Danzig city mark of two crosses and crown on top.
