DescriptionObverse: Virgin nimbate, wearing tunic and maphorion, seated upon throne with back; holds beardless, nimbate head of Christ on breast. Reverse: Full-length figure of emperor on l., crowned by archangel Michael, beardless and nimbate. Emperor wears stemma, divitision, and chlamys with 6 jewels on collar; holds in r. hand scepter cruciger, and in l., anexikakia. Archangel wears short military tunic, breastplate, and sagion; holds jeweled scepter in l. hand.
