Sauceboats: Struck under lips with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1757-8) and with maker's mark of Edward Wakelin. Ladles: Struck on stems with hallmarks (one illegible, the other with leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1757-8) and both with maker's mark of Edward Wakelin.
InscriptionsThe initials and coronet are those borne by Hannah Sophia Cecil, Dowager Countess of Exeter (1702-1765)
