DescriptionOff-white sampler with embroidered images celebrating the British Festival of 1951. British flag in the top center with the words "FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN" underneath. Profile of a soldier in helmet at the bottom center. To the sides are other icons of the UK: red rose, shamrock and also embroidered scenes from the festival. Border has thin black and blue lines.
