DescriptionThe object is an amber statuette of a woman. she is holding objects in her left hand, perhaps a book and some fruit? An ivory post extends 1 1/2" from beneath the figure. There is an amber base and a black wooden base, both detached.
Provenance1902, bequest of William Arnold Buffum to the MFA.
