DescriptionSmall figure of the Virgin with her arms crossed and flowing drapery. The back of the amber is largely unworked. An ivory post extends 3/8" from the underside of the figure. The piece has an ivory and wooden base, although the ivory platform is off center.
Provenance1902, bequest of William Arnold Buffum to the MFA.
