DescriptionMan's "Class A" US Army uniform in five parts consisting of Jacket, trousers, shirt, and two ties. The loden green long-sleeve short-waisted "Eisenhower" style man's Army jacket has with notch collar, two front bellowed pockets with flaps, four button covered placket, tab with snap at waist, two buttons at cuffs, interior lining in khaki cotton twill, and hand label "A. Fishtine" and "9295," labeled 36R.
The jacket bears the insignia:
Left front: upper bar with combat battle star; lower bar with four stars for four battles fought [though Fishtine actually fought in five]
Left lapel: Crossed ? medallion; artillary?
Left shoulder: Cross of Lorraine
Left arm: four gold bars (six months for each bar = two years served)
Right front: Ruptured Duck patch
Right lapel: US medalion
Right shoulder: 79th Army Division patch
The loden green long trousers have two front slash pockets, two rear pockets (one with button flap), and four button fly. The pockets and trousers (partially) are lined in natural cotton twill. Trousers are stamped on inner waist "4269M," labeled "W: 31 L:31". The long sleeve khaki shirt has a seven button front, two front pockets with flaps, two buttons at each cuff and fabric set in at cuff openings, and is labeled "32". Included are two khaki ties, one with hand written label "A. Fishtine F9295.", the other with label "Windsor - Virgin wool - Spiegel wkwr co".
Garrison style olive drab cap.
