DescriptionHorse and rider, each cast separately in one piece and riveted together; kneeling female cast in one piece. Hollow cast and chased. The rider wears a box-shaped breastplate with a cross, a fauld, a gorget, genouilleres, gauntlets pierced with holes for a lance, and sabotons with spurs indicated by a small plug in each heel. The horse stands equally on all four feet with the bridle and breastband in relief and the mane indicated by parallel hatchings on one side. The front right and both back feet are fitted with attachment pins; the front left foot has a modern threaded hole. Her arms raised, long straight hair falling down her back, and feet indicated roughly by two semicircular projections, the kneeling female wears a narrow band around her head and a loose-fitting gown with a high belt and folds marked crudely by parallel lines. There is a modern threaded hole for attachment in the base.
