Description"Globe of the World" inkstand. Circular splayed foot, reeded, daisy design on four supports to horizontal band; vertical band has turned finial with spring button which releases two upper quarters of globe to disclose disc with two round holes and two small narrow ones. Blue glass sand shaker with pierced metal top fits in one round hole; metal bobeche (to fit ink well?) in other.
