DescriptionThis ornament consists of two brooches that can be worn either together or separately. The gold brooch on top is in the shape of an asymmetric, inverted triangle. Depicted in relief (repousse) on the soft, matte surface is a geranium blossom, its petals and stamens directed upwards. The stem, flanked by two leaves with scalloped borders, continues beyond the apex of the brooch and is highlighted by four bezel-set, pink sapphires.
The second brooch is composed of a vibrant, hot pink stone (cobalto calcite druse) bezel-set in silver. It is surmounted by a small stem from which two modelled leaves emerge. Four bezel-set gems (three pink and one green sapphire) are clustered at the top and when both brooches are worn the tips of the stems approximate one another, forming a continual, organic unit that is sensual and elegant.
