DescriptionOne of a pair (with 33.132). Each octagonal tapering body rests on molded stepped foot. The paneled sides of the caster are formed from heavy seamed sheet, joined to the cast lower section with horizontal seam. The flat base is inset. The octagonal cover rises to a faceted dome, pierced with a fleur-de-lys and surmounted by a small baluster finial. It is formed from sheet, with applied wire at the lower and upper sections. The dome is formed from sheet and is set onto the faceted lower section. It has an applied wire at its rim; the lower section of the cover continues the tapering of the panels of the body. The scrolled handle is formed of molded wire.
