DescriptionThe spoon is forged from a single piece of silver and has a deep oval bowl, a rat tail, a flattened stem, and a ridged Hanoverian terminus.
Marks On the back of stem, maker's mark A (Grimwade 1); lion passant; ; date letter H; leopard's head crowned.
InscriptionsARMORIALS: engraved on the back of stem, the crest of Lewes.
INSCRIPTIONS: engraved on back of bowl, "John Goostrey Old Devil Temple Barr".
