DescriptionChair-back settee of double form. Crest rail has pierced C-scrolls which descend to pierced splat consisting of ovals of uniform thickness terminating in recumbant C-scrolls. Two arms with vegetal carved decoration. Six legs fashioned to simulate bamboo, with connecting traceries inspired by Gothic blind-carved lancet windows. Reupholstered in red damask in 1985.
