DescriptionAn eighteen candle branch "globe-type" chandelier. Consisting of three graduated tiers of six scrolling arms, attached with turned finial nuts, to a cast and turned central stem over an iron shaft. Each branch supports a bulbous socket and simple grease pan. The three tiers of branches are each interspersed with six smaller scrolled branches attached by dovetail joinery. The smaller branches end in two types of simplified floral blossom motifs. A ring and heavy-diamond-link chain suspend the object at the top, a large globe with pendant below complete the lower terminus of the stem.
