DescriptionBlack evening dress formed with narrow horizontal bands of rayon knit "bandages." Slit up center back and center back zipper. Interior boning around bust and sewn-in black silk and lace bra. Two interior labels at center back: "Harvé/Leger/Couture" and "M/Made in France/90% rayon/10% Lycra/Dry Clean Only."

[1] This dress was sold as part of a benefit auction for AMFAR held by Christies in which dresses worn to the Academy Awards were sold. This dress was worn by Kate Capshaw to the Oscars on Monday, March 21, 1994 where her husband Stephen Spielberg was nominated for Best Director for "Schindler's List."
