DescriptionThis "ring" (really a sheath for the end of a finger) is made up a of a gilt metal cage decorated with ten colored bezel-set cabochon and faceted stones and three irregular shaped pearl beads. The top of the piece which fits atop the finger has a 14kt gold trident.
ProvenanceMid 1970s, purchased by Karen Rotenberg, Boston; gift of Rotenberg and her husband Michael to the MFA (Accession date: April 14, 2010)
