DescriptionCast bronze figure of a seated lion with head facing forward, roughly modeled. Produced as a sketch for Seated Lion, 1847, now at the entrance to the Louvre. Black over green patination. modeled by 1847; cast by F. Barbedienne Fondeur after 1875-before 1918.
