DescriptionA bifolium (sheet of parchment folded in half to produce two leaves), from a Book of Hours containing text from the Office of the Virgin, Vespers and Compline (includes Ave Maria hymn).

Written in a hurried Gothic bookhand in black ink with red rubrics. Two-line initial in red on f. 1 recto at the beginning of the Office.
