DescriptionSoft-paste porcelain, molded floral pattern forming reserves; ground in underglaze blue, reserves with flower sprays in polychrome enamels; Rutland crest, Peacock in Pride Proper, and Rutland motto "POUR Y PARVENIR" in red enamel. Marks (a,c): (crossed L's) in underglaze blue; (b) unmarked. Duke of Rutland Service. Made for the third Duke of Rutland or for his eldest son, John, Marquis of Granby. Set with 1982.33a-c.
