DescriptionThe raised apple-shaped teapot has an inset foot with a narrow reeded rim. The straight tapered spout is seamed longitudinally. A wooden handle with scrolled thumbpiece is mounted on seamed sockets. The hinge flat circular cover, mounted on a three knuckle hinge, sits flush with the body on an interior bezel. The cover and the opening of the body are circumscribed with chased concentric rings. The baluster finial of turned wood is mounted on the cover with a silver nut and bolt.
