DescriptionThe shell-shaped jug has a fluted rim and spiraling ribs that are alternately plain or molded with shells against a coral ground. It is cast in two halves and seamed in the center. The cast handle is in the form of a dotted serpent with a pointed tail. The boat rests on a cast foot molded with shells, coral, and a watery border.
