DescriptionLarge, deep circular wine taster. Cast and applied shell handle has scrolling at its base, with a circular ring grip below.
Marks Maker's Mark: undecipherable. a crown, a fleur-de-lys, a "V" on the right, the rest illegible.
Possibly the maker's marlk of Toussaint Vachette (“Les orfevres et l’orfevrerie de Paris au XVIIeme siècle”, vol I, p.522, Bimbenet-Privat, 2002) - on the side of the cup.
