DescriptionHand candlestick with a cast, shaped circular pan with a foliate and scrollingrim and a flat circular base. Vase shaped spirally fluted nozzle has a gadroo ned base and rim. The curved handle has scrolling foliage. A crest is engravedin the pan.
Marks Maker's Mark: VTS, a grain. Maison Commune: an open almond with 89 above (Helft, 552). Charge Mark: 1775-1781: Jurisdiction of Metz, for large works: two A's crowned. Other: an illegible mark on the base.
