DescriptionAn oblong octagonal glass or crystal body with silver mounts. Body is molded and concave with a sunburst or flower pattern carved into the bottom as well asthe oval depression for salt. Silver base mounts are molded with four double scroll feet. Silver cover rests on a molded silver rim and is shell shaped surrounded by a matted rim with a curved, molded thumbpiece.
InscriptionsMaker's Mark: a poppy(?), CLN, a grain between C and L (Helft, 626).
