DescriptionOne of a pair ( with 1993.428.2) of circular dishes. Shallow, with a guilloche pattern on the rim and an engraved coat-of arms on the rim (The arms are those of Bateman and Spencer).
InscriptionsMaker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, NB, a star (Dennis, 54). Warden's Mark: Probably a crowned G, 1723-1724, Incomplete (Dennis, 56). Charge Mark: 1722-1727: a crowned A with interlaced L's (Dennis, 56).
