DescriptionTwo-handled shallow cup with cover, the cover with cut-card work in the form of acanthus leaves and snake-form handle. The handles on the cup are double scrolls set vertically, surmounted by graduated beads.
Marks warden's mark: crowned A for Paris 1669-1670, on the edge of the cup (Bimbenet Privat, vol.I, 2002).
Duty mark: crowned A with three fleurs-de-lys, for Paris 1672, under base (Bimbenet-Privat, vol.I, 2002).
Undecipherable mark (partial): the superior part of a fleur-de-lys, crowned. probably the maker's mark, on the edge of the cup.
