DescriptionA shaped circular salver with a molded rim with intertwined foliage and at intervals four scrolling motifs all outlined by a thin band of matting and four matted rosettes. The salver rests on four leaf-capped scroll feet.
Marks
Maker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, FTG, a fleece, almost illegible (Dennis, 155) Warden's Mark: 1754-1755: a crowned O (Dennis, 31). Other: Guarantee mark used after 1838 for medium sized work: a small boar's head (Tardy, p. 173).
