DescriptionA shaped oval cruet stand with scrolling and foliage on either end and two foiate motifs in the center of each side. On scrolled and foliate feet. The detachable bottle mounts are circular with cast and chased openwork grape vines and scrolling. Two detachable vase shaped nozzles flank the mounts. They rest onflared bases and are molded beneath their cast wreath rims. The center handle is missing.
The bottles are cut glass with gold grape vine decoration and band around the lip on one, and a gold vine decoration and similar band on the lip and handle of the other. Both have fitted tops and ear shaped handles. One has a broken cover and the handle is broken off as well.

InscriptionsMaker's Mark: maker's small mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, FTG (Dennis, 161). Warden's Mark: 1757-1758: a crowned R (Dennis, 161). Charge Mark: for small work, 1756-1762: a harrow (Dennis, 161).
