DescriptionOne of a set of six candlesticks. Cast with a shaped stepped circular base with spiral fluting. Chased foliage clusters divide the basse into four sections . Squared baluster stem has four vertical bands of open leaf patterns. Stem rises to shaped circular knop and nozzle. The nozzle has four chased shells at the base.

Maker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, EPB, a cinquefoil (Dennis, 30). Warden's Mark: 1742-1743: a crowned B (Dennis, 146). Charge Mark: 1738-1744: a crowned A with palm branches (Dennis, 108). Discharge Mark: 1733(?)-1775 for works intended for export: a little cow (Dennis, 125).
