DescriptionOne of a set of four cast trencher salts. Of shaped oval form with scrolling forming the supports. The concave sides have molded rims and a depression for salt divided into four slightly lobed sections. The interior is silver gilt. The cast double shell cover has a small molded thumbpiece and a molded rim. It is gilt inside.
Marks
Maker's Mark: a crowned BB, a grain between, a flaming heart(?). Other: a crowned A, two grains, a fleur-de-lis(?).
