DescriptionSpiral fluted teapot with bird-form spout and ebony handle
Marks Maker's mark: a crowned EIW (for Etienne Louis Waustrud, see Helft #491). Warden's mark: crowned V for Valenciennes, around 1747 (Helft 491). Charge mark(s): Llion rampant to left, crowned; and swan (both Helft 491). All marks are on the underside of the pot.
