DescriptionOne of a pair of candelabra. Cast candlestick is on an octagonal molded base with a banded dome. The octagonal molded knop rises to a tapering octagonal stem and an octagonal reeded knop above. The octagonal nozzle is molded on the base and rim. The branch has a closed base rising to a banded baluster shaped center giving way to a large cast flower form finial on a sexfoil base. Scrolling arms rise to circular bobeches with reeded rims. The campana shaped nozzles have molded rims.

Maker's Mark: A between two grains, MOY / SET, a fleur-de-lis (?) (Helft, 1131). Maison Commune: Toulouse, 1734: a fleur-de-lis, TOL, two grains with a K between (Helft, 1131). Charge mark: 1732-1738: a crowned fleur-de-lis, a grain, M (Helft, 1131). Discharge Mark: 1732-1738: a crowned shield with three fleurs-de-lis (Helft, 1131). The Discharge mark appears only on the branch.
