DescriptionLabel, left side of skirt - Jeanne Lanvin, Paris. Pale peach satin dress and matching train worn by the donor at her presentation at the Court of St. James; a sheath-like dress with slender shoulder straps, V neck, front and very deep in back, some of fullness hanging in bias drapery in center front of skirt, very narrow belt at waist line, below waistline two broad appliqué horizontal bands forming short ties in left front, train attached at top of shoulder straps and designed with triangle on each side in front of arms, straight hanging in back; dress slightly faded.
