DescriptionThe pear shaped body is plain. The circular foot is cast in three parts: a molded ring, a band of gadrooning, and a plain outer rim . The harp-shaped handle is soldered to the body and joined to the cover with a three-part hinge and scrolled bifurcated thumbpiece. The small soldered spout is cast with a man's head. The raised stepped circular domed cover has an overlapping band of gadrooning, and a baluster finial with vertical reeding applied in the middle of a disc of radial reeding

Maker (underside of foot, underside of cover, outerside of rim of foot , side of the handle): a crowned fleur de lys, two grains, P F B, an orange. (Beuque p.194 #1742)
