DescriptionMandorla-shaped plaque with eight pinholes. Hammered, champlevé, engraved, enameled, and gilded. Enamel colors are lapis blue, turquoise, light blue, white, yellow, green, and red in single and mixed fields of three colors. Christ, engraved and in reserve, stands full face with open palms on a lapis-blue ground. His green halo, with red dots and yellow border, contains a gilded cross. Within an inner turquoise and an outer hatched reserved border, the lapis-blue ground has reserved crosses and four discs (the lower two with reserved rosettes and the upper two in reserve with enameled quatrefoils of red, light blue, and white). Two hands are engraved on the reverse.
