DescriptionThe body of the pitcher is of ovoid shape tapering to a slender neck with a flared spout above and an ear-shaped handle. The white ground is decorated with large sprays of flowers, a wreath of flowers, two butterflies, and an insect. Two parallel gilt bands encircle the neck; another gilt band is located just above the base. The handle is painted with long alternating bands of dark and light blue which are crossed horizontally by gilt bands; the molded leaf motif at the upper join of the handle to the body is picked out in blue. The rim of the spout is gilt.

Ornamented interlaced Ls (tres ornee) enclosing three dots, a v and two dots above, a dot, palmette and two dots below.
