DescriptionThe beaker-shaped cup and the saucer are octafoil, with gently lobed sides; the handle is ear shaped. Both the cup and the saucer are
painted in purple monochrome (camaieu poupre) with birds in landscapes. A band of gold encircles the rims of the cup and saucer and the
footring of the cup, and gilt leaf and dot decoration appears on the handle.
InscriptionsCup: interlaced Ls with five dots in blue enamel; incised mc. Saucer: interlaced Ls in blue enamel.
