Description(Boston: James R. Osgood and Company, 1874); 25.6 cm; [18 ff.]; 7 plates plus decorative title page (all printed one side only); contemporary black- and gilt-stamped brown morocco (Macdonald & Sons, Cambridge).

According to the "List of Illustrations," the plates were "reproduced in heliotype from drawings by Winslow Homer." The printing process for the plates seems to be lithography.

The MFA's William Morris Hunt Library also holds a copy (call number Special Collections 994.39.597).
