DescriptionEight tapering linen panels embroidered with polychrome silk yarns. Design of six outer panels shows repeating "Queen" patterns, alternating red and green; central panels embroidered with King and Queen pattern, and small birds; "gable" of central archway repeats these patterns and adds variety of birds; in spandrels are large confronting birds, human figures and double-headed eagles. Linen yellowed, some yarns rotted; pieced and mended in places.
