DescriptionAbout 2 1/3 repeat units. On natural ground, engraved design printed in brown. Shows, in each unit, a ruined stone fountain surrounded by trees and an urn on a stone arch, upper left; a grounded bird winging by tree stumps, upper right; a tree running diagonally to lower right, springing from a classical ruin with fluted Ionic columns; left of this, a man walks through central arch in a ruined triple arch; interspaces filled with flowering branches. Cotton browned and brittle; some small holes. Selvedge along left side.
