DescriptionPanel, rounded at lower end, made of 1 1/4 widths of cotton (no selvedges remain). Cherry-red copperplate print on white ground. Nine vignettes; family in horsecart, riders on causeway approaching town gate, fiddler and bagpipe-player, hurdy-gurdy with drummer and dancers, pedlar with mule, goats and cow resting, town harbor with classical ruin, Commedia dell'Arte players on platform stage, women roasting meat on a spit. A few brown and pink stains (run of dyes?); cotton in good condition, two small holes.
