DescriptionThe combination brass and silverplated brass candlesticks are composed of bases, stems, and tops. Trilateral pyramids with flat tops form the bases. All three sides are embellished with an incised line that runs diagonally from left edge to lower right corner. Below the line is polished brass; above is silverplate. The silverplated three sided columnar stems are smaller than the bases but equal to the tops in width. Inverted trilateral pyramids of silverplated brass, which mimic the bases, crown the stems. One circular recess in each of the flat tops holds a candle.
