DescriptionGround: Compound weave of ivory silk and silver tinsel. Design: Two pairs of undulating ribbons, on scalloped, one plain, brocaded in gilded silver wire and silks. At each curve of the plain one, a spray of flowers brocaded in polychrome silks, silver tinsel wound on a silk core and frisé silver yarn, the sprays tied with a fluttering ribbon brocaded in silk. In the interspaces, small floral sprays. Selvedges on both sides of four cords and a wide stripe. Soiled and spotted. Metallic threads very worn. Holes.
