DescriptionThe base is composed of a square wooden post that is bisected by five evenly spaced, square, aluminum slats, which extend as platforms around the post. The base supports the lighting fixture, hidden behind a cubic parchment shade, 8" a side. The edges of the cube are lined with wood. When lit, the parchment diffuses the light so that the entire cube appears illuminated. An electric cord extends from the rear of the lamp's base.
