DescriptionShort black boucle jacket with rounded collar and six gray/black and gold buttons and button holes down the center front. There is also a button on flap pockets on each side of the lower part of the jacket and two at each cuff. Buttons have a lion's head on them (representative of Chanel's astrological sign--Leo). Two side seams and a seam at the center of each shoulder that runs the length of the jacket. Long sleeves are set in with a slight curvature.
Pockets and sleeves are lined in black plain weave silk. Jacket interior is lined with silk crepe and patterned with red, tan, black, gray and off-white stripes of varying widths (this matches the pattern on the corresponding blouse). Gold colored metal chain sewn in along hem. Woven white label with black letters at center reads "Chanel." Twill tape under label: "48038."
Black boucle skirt with a slight flare. Seams at sides and down center front and back. Three hook closures and 7.5" zipper at left side. Interior is lined in black plain weave silk with an 8" slit at the center front and back. Vertically placed woven label reads "Chanel" with a twill tape underneath with the numbers "48039."
Silk crepe short sleeve blouse patterned with red, off-white, tan, black and gray stripes of varying widths which matches the lining of the corresponding jacket. Standing collar with a bow at the center. Short sleeves are set in. Closures run along center back with three snaps at the collar and eight mother-of-pearl buttons attached to an off-white silk band and nine button holes covered by the blouse's patterned fabric.
