DescriptionCanvas ground, embroidered in cross stitch with pale orange-pink wool. Pattern rendered by unembroidered areas of canvas, painted gold and lined with black flock. Chinoiserie design showing pagodas, stairs and figures connected by undulating branches. Canvas split in some of the gold areas. Wool faded. Repairs show as spots of lighter colored wool.
